Universal Medical Collage is a pioneer private owned health sciences college in Ethiopia. It was established to alleviate the shortage of skilled man power in the country particularly in the health sector both in governmental and non-governmental organizations.

The college has well equipped Campus facilities for the teaching learning process at a central and convenient location in Addis Ababa.
Universal Medical college has contributed a number of health professionals to the capacity building of the country as per its plan both in degree and diploma program. To this end, about 4500 students were graduated in clinical pharmacy,clinical nursing and health officer in 12 cohorts including regular and extension students. Currently about 1300 students are learning in the college. Universal medical college is fully accredited in clinical pharmacy, clinical nursing and health officer degree program.
